When a full moon rises above a small town, 17-year-old Didi makes love to her boyfriend for the first time. To her horror, the boy dies. The next day she is approached by two mysterious women, who tell her she is a nymph. Kati and Nadia have escaped from their own community, a society ruled by tyrannical satyrs, to live on their own among ordinary mortals. They believe Didi is their nymph of legend, who will lead all nymphs to their freedom, and they are ready to do anything to protect her from the satyrs. Didi must leave her friends and family behind, but when she falls madly in love with Samuel, an ordinary mortal, she realises his life is now in her hands.
