This booklet describes the Eastleigh Clearing Hospital which received wounded or sick soldiers from August 1915 to April 1918. The name of the hospital changed in April 1917 to Eastleigh Military Hospital and later, in January 1918 to Eastleigh Casualty Clearing Station. The main of the hospital was to carry out a form of triage service. The hospital had 1280 beds and cared for 72,000 patients during the Great War.
