Summary

Somewhat against his better judgment, Mike Wells accepts a lucrative assignment from bigtime gangster Rico Bruck. It seems a simple enough job: to board a train and shadow a man on his journey to New York, and then to telephone his whereabouts to Bruck. Mike takes with him the beautiful Toni Kaye, who tells him she wants to escape Bruck's employment and make a career as a singer. But when they arrive at their destination, their target is found murdered.
