During the 20th century Tschiffely made the journey from Buenos Aires to New York by horse. In 1959 John Coleman did the trip in a 1925 Baby Austin. It would have been much easier by horse but Coleman's vintage car trip is now considered a classic by seasoned travellers worldwide.
