Booklet detailing the lives of some of the Johnson family who lived at Marsh Court, Stockbridge with particular reference to the use of the house as a hospital during the First World War. The history of the house and family continues until Marsh Court was sold in 1941. During the Second World War the new owners allowed the house to be used by an evacuated school, and later by Montclair Homes for War Stricken Children.
