How did the village of Hartley Wintney face up to the First World War?
Hartley Wintney provided nearly 500 men for armed service in The Great War, this out of a village population of only 2,172. Of that total 96 men and one woman munitions worker did not survive.
The book is a follow on from the three day exhibition of life in the village during WWI that was held in the Victoria Halls late October 2014.
